Why Sailing?
The sound and feel of water and wind is experiential.
It soothes, relaxes and helps us realize our lives are bigger than the challenges we face. Cancer treatment can be rigorous and life threatening. It takes an emotional toll on the patient and the burden is shared by their loved ones. We believe the storm of cancer can be calmed with sailing.
Serenity Sailing is a non-profit 501(c)3 Organization newly formed in collaboration with the western Lake Erie sailing community, The Victory Center of Toledo, and regional cancer treatment centers.

New Horizons was owned by Robin and her husband Greg and is now donated to Serenity Sailing. Sailing brought friends, camaraderie and great peace she hopes to share with the community.
